New Owner Transition

Just bought a business? Capture what the seller knows and get operations organized before they step away.

Sounds like you if

You just bought a business, or you’re about to close. The way it actually runs lives in the seller’s head, scattered files, and “we’ve always done it this way,” and your transition time with the seller is short.

What you get

  • Structured knowledge-capture sessions with the seller and key staff before the seller steps away

  • An inventory of accounts, vendors, contracts, recurring tasks, and key dates, plus a record of where each login lives (we never collect passwords)

  • Your first 5 core processes written as step-by-step SOPs your team can follow (more can be added in sets of up to 3)

  • A 90-day new-owner operating calendar: what happens when, and who owns it

  • A Business Command Center so every document and system has one home

  • A 30-day check-in after handoff

The result

You run the business with confidence from the first month, instead of rebuilding it from memory after the seller is gone.

How it works

  1. 1

Book a free Fit Call. We talk through where you are and what you most need from the seller’s transition period. No pitch.

  2. 2

A $250 Working Diagnostic. We map what needs capturing and set a fixed price and timeline around your seller’s transition period. The $250 is credited toward the project if you start within 30 days.

  3. 3

We capture, document, and organize. I work with the seller and your key staff, write the SOPs, and build your Business Command Center. Short check-ins keep it moving.

  4. 4

Handoff and a 30-day check-in. You get a 90-day operating calendar, and we meet again 30 days after handoff to catch anything that slipped.

What it costs

  • Intro call: free

  • Working Diagnostic: $250, credited toward the project if you start within 30 days

  • New Owner Transition: from $8,500 (fixed price confirmed after the Working Diagnostic), including 5 core SOPs

  • Additional sets of up to 3 SOPs are $1,250 each

  • 50% deposit to start the project, balance when your handoff package is delivered

What this isn’t

This isn’t due diligence, valuation, legal, tax, or accounting advice. I stay in operations: capturing what the seller knows, documenting how the business runs, and getting you organized. When something needs your attorney or CPA, I’ll flag it and point you to the right professional, with an organized summary that makes their time efficient.

Best timing

Start before the seller’s transition period ends — what they know is hardest to get once they’re gone. The earlier we begin, the more of that knowledge we can capture while it’s still within reach.
